What is dew point and why are manufacturers pursuing low dew point in the field of drying?
First, the dew point temperature:Dew point temperature refers to the temperature at which air is cooled to saturation without changing water vapor content or air pressure. Figuratively speaking, the temperature at which the water vapor in the air changes to dew is called the dew point temperature.
2. Absolute humidity :(1) The pressure of water vapor contained in the air is called the absolute humidity of the air. (2) The mass of water vapor contained in unit volume of air is called the absolute humidity of the air.
Description: (1) The degree of dryness and wetness of the air is related to the amount of water vapor contained in the unit volume of air, at a certain temperature, a certain volume of air, the greater the density of water vapor, the greater the pressure, the smaller the density, the smaller the air pressure. Therefore, humidity is usually expressed in terms of the pressure of water vapor in the air. (2) Humidity is a physical quantity that indicates the degree of dryness and wetness of air. The humidity of the air is expressed in various ways, such as absolute humidity, relative humidity, dew point, etc.
3. Relative humidity :(1) The percentage value of the water vapor density actually contained in the air and the saturated water vapor density at the same temperature is called the relative humidity of the air. (2) At a certain temperature, the absolute humidity of the air, followed by the percentage value of saturated vapor pressure at the same temperature, is called the relative humidity of the air at that time.
Note :(1) In fact, many phenomena related to humidity are not directly related to absolute humidity, but directly related to the degree of water vapor leaving the saturation state, so a new concept that can express the degree of water vapor leaving saturation in the air - relative humidity is proposed. It is also a representation of air humidity. (2) Since the density of steam is proportional to the vapor pressure when the temperature is the same, the relative humidity is usually the percentage value of the actual water vapor pressure and the saturated water vapor pressure at the same temperature.
4. Dew point :(1) The temperature at which the unsaturated water vapor originally contained in the air becomes saturated is called the dew point. (2) When the relative humidity of the air becomes 100%, that is, the temperature when the actual water vapor pressure is equal to the saturated water vapor pressure, it is called the dew point.
Note :(1) People often determine the absolute humidity and relative humidity of the air by measuring the dew point, so the dew point is also a way of expressing air humidity. Fifth, the dew point temperature is a temperature value, and it is used to express humidity because when the water vapor in the air has reached saturation, the air temperature is the same as the dew point temperature; When the water vapor does not reach saturation, the temperature must be higher than the dew point temperature.
What low dew point means:
1 Enables faster drying of moisture.
2 means lower absolute moisture content, reducing material damage.
3 The residual water content can be reduced as much as possible.
Different raw materials, different initial moisture content, different drying temperature, different drying time, different requirements for dew point, Jinyue Machinery according to each different situation, design different schemes, through remote data to observe customer product operation, adjust drying temperature, drying time, different dew point temperature switching, (Jinyue dryer dew point can be as low as -70 °C), adjust the operating system program, under the premise of meeting customer product quality, to achieve the most energy-saving operating state.
